Even if it is a TT-V6, and an Ecoboost(no Eco and more Boost honestly), I'm praying that this car sounds good, that's all I care about aside from how the hell they got that much power out of the 3.5L EB.
It doesn't sound bad at all so far!! :D
More porn that I haven't seen here yet:
This interior is so basic :)
THESE TAIL LIGHTS
YASSSSSS

Ask them how they did it for the Daytona Prototype and you have your answer.

Daytona Prototype?

All you need to know is here. Looks like they are gonna use the same engine.

How did they get that much power out of it?
Strengthened internals, more boost, more fuel..

I just want it to have a manual and start at $150,000 like the previous version did.

Twin turbo V6s are a recipe for amazing sounds

Get your head out of the gutter philistine! TT-V6 and paddles are teh FUTURE!!!!!
I kid, manual would be nice, and $150k would be nicer. But this is most likely going to be a ferrari or exotic fighter and will most likely be priced as such, even if it is a Ford.

I disagree. It sounds like a weazy diesel Mondeo with squeaky turbos.

Lol yup!

The whole car looks great, but that rear view gives me palpitations. I love the center "fuselage" with the external "wheel pods." It looks so futuristic. Yes, I think it should be offered with the flat plane 5.2, and yes, I want a manual, but when I look at the thing, my complaints just seem to dissolve.

yea, that gives me a sad.

I just had an idea
You know how McLaren is making a cheaper version of their car?
Ford should make a cheaper version of this car. It would have the same engine but de-tuned a little. They could use less carbon fiber to save money. And they could use a manual to save money too.
Then more Jalops would be able to afford a mid-engine Ford sports car

That idea is so crazy.....It just might.......
NOT WORK!! -_-
A manual(no matter how much you love it) will not save them money, it will cost more because they'll have to either
1. Develop a means of strengthening a current transmission or an all new one
2. Hope that they can recoup the money that went into that development, and seeing as how most "Jalops" would rather by a car used than new, they'll be making no profit on it whatsoever; ergo, a waste of money and not worth trying.
So no. This isn't like the 80s when Porsche and Ferrari could afford to make no profit on the 959 and F40 respectively.

i knew you would say this...
ok how about a baby GT with a DCT :D ?
![]() 02/08/2015 at 23:23 |

Well it's just simple logic.
I think we're more likely to see a variant of the GT motor in the Mustang in the next couple of years. That is something I would instantly buy.
But I'll just say that a "baby GT" would be more likely.

hmm that is definitely possible

And it would either be it's own special edition model(a la RS) or replace the 5.0 all together.
And you expected that comment too.

no i didn't even think about the engine going into the Mustang
